The Oak Singing Tree for Autism is an international photo mosaic artwork that sparks awareness and action about autism. We can’t wait for your genius to add meaning and passion to the Oak Singing Tree for Autism.

This interactive creative project is brought to you by Unity Through Creativity, a non-profit dedicated to igniting imagination and connections to address community challenges, in collaboration with zumyn.
The Singing Tree Project was inspired by one child's wish that all the people of the world would make a painting together. Meredith Miller believed it could happen in 1999. So do we. More than 8,000 people from 15 countries have participated in Singing Tree projects. The Autism tree is the 14th tree in the forest of murals we've begun. This one, thanks to our partnership with zumyn, is our first, and certainly not our last, virtual Singing Tree.
Why the Autism Singing Tree? In truth, one of our Board members was diagnosed with Aspergers. The partnership with zumyn for a "virtual" Singing Tree was Dr. Janet Delong’s brain-child. Aspergers requires that Janet think out of the box. We’re very happy she does. She made us wonder what other people with Aspergers, with any Autism Spectrum diagnosis, were thinking. We’d like to know. We’d like the world to know.
